Building a Movement is...

Building Community is..

Womxn's Work

Womxn’s Work Consulting helps nonprofit organizations, government agencies and companies build meaningful and equitable relationships with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities.

We help our client recognize who is not in the room, who is not at the table, and who are the people who have traditionally been in the margins, and how to get those people in their space as leaders, recipients and/or participants. We move our clients to action with a plan that our experience with successful campaigns, events, and actions have shown us works.

We are a company that was started by two Black womxn who, combined, have over 60 years of community and grassroots organizing in faith, labor, and social justice spaces with deep relationships with BIPOC community members locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.

We will not work with just anyone because we know how much trust and responsibility comes with these powerful relationships we have with BIPOC community members. Our clients cannot seek to only change the appearance of their organization or seek shallow change but our clients must be committed to the cultural, systemic, and/or institutional change it will take by their organization to be a safe place that is invested in the thriving of womxn.
